The EOS R5 can shoot continuously up to 12 fps with a mechanical shutter release or up to 20 fps with an electronic shutter release, especially useful when shooting in silent mode. 8K video recording, two memory card slots, can shoot continuously up to 12 fps with the mechanical shutter.
Built-in IBIS delivers softer videos, as well as making it even better in low light.
If the original fails to capture 4K videos with a full sensor, the R5 can shoot 8K videos or convert them into 4K videos to be sharper.
The R5 has two dual card slots that allow you to perform instant backups or bring extra storage to the camera body.
Canon also announced that it has developed nine RF lenses to be released this year, including rf 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM, Extender RF 1.4x and Extender RF 2x. The three lenses and the R5 will be shown in more detail at the CP+ camera exhibition in Japan from February 27.
